Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to welcome all the participants to the International Conference of the Genetics Society of Korea 2019 (ICGSK 2019) that will be held in Pangyo Technovalley in Seongnam-city, Republic of Korea from November 21 to 22, 2019. This conference will give you a platform to broaden your knowledge, exchange ideas and technologies on broad topics including Medical Genetics, Chromosomal Genetics and Genomics, Developmental Genetics, Plant Genetics, Forensic Genetics, IBS session, BioVenture Session, KSMG session and G & G Session. This conference will also serve the opportunities for networking among participants. ICGSK 2019 will be held at the CHA Bio Complex at CHA University, which is one of the leading premiere global healthcare groups.

The scientific program includes three Plenary Lectures and 15 Symposia focusing on the latest research breakthroughs. In addition, Poster and Oral session will be arranged for young scientists to present their research progress. This year, we are pleased to have Dr. Sankar Mitra (Methodist Hospital Houston, USA), Dr. Hiroki Ueda (University of Kyoto, Japan) and Dr. Ji Hwan Song (CHA University, Korea) as plenary lecturers. In addition, more than 30 world-class scientists from domestic and foreign institutions and 16 Korean young scientists will introduce cutting-edge studies in the Symposia. Furthermore, we are proud to inaugurate two Sessions that are organized by our domestic and international guests, KSMG (Korean Society of Medical Genetics & Genomics) and GST (Genetic Society of Thailand), respectively.

There will be a ceremony for the 5th GSK Academic Research Awards, such as the GSK Life Science Award. Moreover, many companies and industries in the field of bioscience and biotechnology will participate at this conference for sharing their most up-to-date technologies at various Special Sessions as well as for the exhibition of research materials and equipment.

We are confident that this conference will provide all the participants with the most updated information on the latest scientific advancements and valuable opportunities to exchange the ideas and launch future collaborations.
